Italian Village: Your Destination for Authentic Italian Cuisine in Plainfield

This place is solid to get takeout for a family. The pizza tastes great, the hot subs are awesome. Order on the website and you get a free item. It's a regular takeout spot in our rotation and I would recommend trying them out. We have satisfied picky eaters and this place satisfies all of us!

Update (April 2024): New owners (affiliated with Francesco’s Pizzeria in Edison) offering friendly customer service, reasonable prices, and a delicious menu with LOTS of great choices (including desserts) for every palate. Also there are two fully stocked beverage cases. They offer in-person & online specials, lunch & dinner pricing as well as coupons. Go there…NOW and You’re welcome!! Review (2019) I have been an Italian Village customer for a long time and their food is always delicious. The pizza choices are extensive and there’s always several “by the slice” choices on display. I enjoy ordering their antipasto salad because it is always fresh and the presentation is eye appealing. The prices here are very reasonable and the servings are generous. During their busy times, usually evenings and weekends, I suggest calling in your order, unless you plan to eat your meal there as they have several tables available. There is usually 3 or 4 sliced dessert offerings, already packaged, in the refrigerated case as well. You can’t beat their wonderful and efficient customer service whether ordering at the counter or over the phone. Overall, this is a great pizzeria restaurant!

Great restaurant! I’ve been coming here on and off for years whenever I visit friends in the area. Love the food here. Great pasta , pizza, sandwiches, salads, and sautéed vegetables. They even made me a Sicilian slice without cheese to accommodate me. It was soooo good! Will be back for a whole pie of this later in the week!

Italian Village might look like your typical pizza spot from the outside, but don’t let appearances fool you — this place is anything but average. Every slice I’ve had here has been spot-on. The pepperoni-to-cheese ratio is consistently phenomenal, and the crust is crisp, light, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of place that quietly delivers top-tier pizza without trying too hard to impress — because the food speaks for itself. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a bad slice here. A true hidden gem.

Been coming here for a very long time, since a child. Management has changed, but quality of the food is even better with the new guys here. Very nice, accommodating, and clean.

Very affordable! Portions are huge and food is VERY DELICIOUS. Customer service is top notch! I felt so welcomed. When I asked them about their buffet, they even gave me some to go to try it out! And Leo was very handsome Will definitely be back!

Their pizza is good. I love their penne vodka pizza. Its very flavorful. Thier salads are okay, but they give you a nice amount for the price. I have tried various items here. Some are better than others, but overall, this place has gotten so much better than previous years. Only thing I'm not a fan of is their fish sandwich. Its not served on the right bread and it lacks flavor.

First time here yesterday, amazing chicken francaise was top notch. Extra sauce and flavorful. Had a slice of pepperoni and sausage. Omg!! I dont like everyone pizza so this my second best place!! Will definitely return.
